United Airlines plans to cut at least 3,400 management and administrative position

this is sad for the employees of ual,which,as other carriers,is taking a big economic hit...usually its the middle management and supervisory postions that get "axed" ,along with administrative support such as secretaries..upper level does not..i wish them all the best..i had heard yesterday that a large portion of their cockpit crews were already on notice of furlough..
