American Airlines CEO tells employees to brace for furlough warnings
I post this not as much for its content, but to see if anyone else has noticed the amount of traffic that was stable, if at a low level, now seems to be on a declining slope, if one looks at a 6 month view of the flight data from FlightAware starting around mid-December 2020. I.e. a visual to my eye seems to show lower highs and lower low peaks for Commercial & Cargo Airlines traffic trend now and maybe even a start similar on the General & Business Aviation traffic. It’s the cyclical downward time right after the holidays. It is nothing new. I think it noticeable more now because everyone is really watching number that were already low. There will be an upward trend around spring breaks and then down until summer travel starts.

Brook55 & Antonello -- Thanks for you feedback & thoughts, as I said in my post, as both do seem to agree their is the downward trend, just different reasons. I recall I was able to view both the Europe and China graphs previously, but can not find them to see if they show a similar trend and / or if the timing maybe a bit different; i.e. heard via TV new (business channel) that China expects much less air travel for this coming new years time. I hope this can be watched a bit more with an uptick vs. down coming back in the next 6 - 8 weeks.
