Cessna Citation Sovereign (N715WE) - This Citation was manufactured in 2009 and it is seen just before it taxies onto runway 20R. On this same day I rented a C-172 that had full fuel and a passenger, we took a little over 1,000 feet of runway to takeoff. This Citation with a light load also used just over 1,000 feet which I must say is extremely impressive (Ive never seen a biz jet or any commercial jet for that matter use so little runway) and I do know for sure it was only a little over a thousand for this jet because I could see the "thousand foot markers" from where I was standing so it wasnt just a guess.

Super capture here, Mark. Bravos for such excellent camera work to catch the paint so wonderfully; getting such a clean click of the shadowed side without blowing out the sunlit portion is not an easy task, especially in the midday hours (shadows directly below means the sun was high overhead). Primo picture ... * * * * * .
