The engineer always backs up the pilot flying on the throttles. Safety procedure.

Neat video. Only thing I wonder about the 800 meters to lift off. Watching the video, I would think it was more like 1500-1700 meters.

David, just FYI, that's 800 METERS, not feet. That's roughly 2400'.

@Victor...the FE always backs up the PF on the throttles. Always. It only takes one guy to shove them up.

And trims the thrust across the gauges, as well. If you look, he has his own set of throttles.
