I love how they fit 390 people on that aircraft (MD-80?, I can't tell) pictured in the background when the reporter was talking. This must be the extended payload and range version. Either that, or the news got it wrong, but I know that they would never do that. It's not like it's clear that it's a Boeing 747 or something.
It was a 747-400 I could clearly see it at 7,000 feet circling directly above my house.
Yes, I know. I was just commenting on the fact that the video in the link features for the first few seconds an airplane that appears to be an MD-80.
