You Can Buy An Airbus A340 Converted Into A Restaurant For $1.4 Million
Turkey’s largest restaurant happens to be the inside of a retired Airbus A340. The plane-turned-restaurant is located in Balikesir, Turkey, and is currently on sale for $1.4m, according to real estate agent, Huseyin Caliskan. (simpleflying.com) Mais...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Boeing should do this with all those maxs that people wont fly on.
A long time ago when I saw a Connie that had been turned into a restaurant I thought the 747 fuselage, sans wings, was far more suited to this application than the (relatively) narrow Constellation. There could also be a bar in the bulge for patrons waiting for their tables. At the time 74's were all still flying but now they are rotting away in the desert maybe someone could do this with one.
The 747 are more suited for a hotel/hostel like the one outside Arlanda airport.
Hi Dave
I did not know about this. Thanks. Now, if I ever get to Sweden, there is a place that I have to stay at least one night.
