Plane makes emergency landing in Edinburgh after fuel leak
Here is a better article from the one I posted earlier A plane bound for Chicago has made an emergency landing at Edinburgh Airport. The United Airlines flight 929 from London Heathrow made the diversion after it began leaking fuel. The Boeing 767-300 aircraft, which left London at 07:02, landed at Edinburgh just before 10:00 after circling above Scotland dumping fuel. (www.bbc.com) Mais...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Kind of ironic when you have to dump fuel after discovering you are leaking it. :-)
Yep! And it makes a mess of your car, as it did to mine near DFW some years back, when they do it at low level.
Well, looks like they may still be having problems as of Wednesday morning... my competitor product to FlightAware just sent me an alert that the 767 is returning AGAIN to Edinburgh... it just departed for Chicago but turned back.
So there were no pictures of a Boeing 767 available?
I know, I`m sorry about that
I didn't realize it was a 767 involved in the emergency landing, not a 787 until after I posted.

It's not your fault. It's the people that posted the article.
