A small plane operating for FedEx crashed in Wichita, Kansas, Tuesday morning, killing one person. The plane went down and burst into flames in a field near the intersection of South Tyler Road and West 47th Street South in Wichita, according to KAKE. A pilot from Lawrence, KS, was fatally injured Tuesday when the FedEx airplane he was flying experienced engine problems just after takeoff and went down in a wheat field near Mid-Continent Airport (KICT) in Wichita.
