Sadly the big legendary jumbo is disappearing from our skies slowly lets hope the 748 production gets more customers. I can recall the day the very first Jumbo jet landed in NZAA a PAN AMERICAN PLANE

I recall Pan am bring there first 747-100 into YSSY Clipper Kit Carson what a massive huge Boeing aircraft it towered over everyone and small aircraft there to see it arrive. Now days they have gates to come up too and there technology has gone more advance today from yesterday

"The CEO Allan Joyce has announced that Brisbane or YBBN/BNE will replace the Boeing 747-438's currently servicing YBBN/KLAX as QFA15, QFA16 as early as next year... the new Boeing 787-938's will replace them." Utter nonsense - how do you come up with this rubbish, and how on earth do people upvote it? The first Boeing 787-9 won't even be delivered until the end of 2017, with the rest of the initial order of eight stretched from 2018 to mid-2019!

Ok I think you had best do research first as I believe you may be thinking of the 787-10 series...the 787-9 series started deliveries back in 2014.."On July 8, 2014, Launch customer Air New Zealand took its first 787-9, in a distinctive black livery in a ceremony at Paine Field."
