McDonnell Douglas FA-18 Hornet — - I was caught off guard as Blue Angels solo #5 (Commander Frank Weisser) flew over low and fast to do a close pass with solo #6. I didn't have time to switch cameras (to a wider lens camera), so I just kept my camera on Cdr. Weisser and kept shooting. I thought this was a really cool close up shot. This photo is from the Blue Angels performance at Wings over North Georgia at the Rome airport. I shot this with my Canon 600mm lens and the shutter speed was 1/8000, F5.6, ISO 500. Please check out my other aviation photography. Votes and positive comments are always appreciated. Questions about this photo can be sent to Info@FlewShots.com
