Boeing P-8 Poseidon (16-9334) - KRDD - US Navy P-8A "Poseidon" working the pattern on April 26, 2021 from VP-47 Whidbey Island NAS. I was able to get 5 Touch and Go's before they departed north for Grant County Airport as "Ford II". Lower photos in ground proximity were heat hazed and promptly deleted. The helo above the P-8A was local and was returning from the Redding Airport helicopter training area east of the Runway.

Thanks Darryl - I took quite a few as a P-8A at Redding is extremely rare, most photos on the Runway are heat hazed unworthy of posting. I sent a few to the VP-47 FB page they were happy to get them

"Poseidon" (the Navy named these for the God of the Sea) carries a trident as his primary weapon.
