Eurocopter AS-350 AStar (N913WB)

Per Cirium: On Dec. 10, 2024, this 2008 Airbus Helicopters AS350 B2, of the Los Angeles Police Department appeared to have gone out of control and crashed, subsequently rolling over onto its right side, after 'encountering a gust of wind' during landing at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos, California. The accident happened in daylight (about 1300L) and in VMC. The helicopter was reportedly operating a local low-altitude maneuvers during a (simulated hydraulic failure exercise?). No injuries were reported.
