Looks like Northrop T-5 trainer of the F-5 Freedom fighter. Interesting paint scheme. Wonder if it is used as part of the Red Flag training unit?
alan its a T-38C Talon, most T-38s are painted like this 65-0412 is based at Laughlin AFB, TX (tail code XL) part of the 47th flight training wing of AETC. the 87th flight training squadron is the "red bulls"
