Memorial flyby for LT. Bob Friend at the Palm Springs Air Museum
Comments
Awesome old iron(or aluminum...)!
I see a B-25, a P-40, maybe a Thunderbolt, the fighter from the Korean war but no 738-900
Left to right, T33,P40,P63,P47,B25.
Where is the Boeing 737-900?
OBVIOUSLY THERE IS NO 737-900 IN THIS PHOTO BUT THE ACTUAL PLANES (LEFT TO RIGHT) ARE: T-33 SHOOTING STAR (T-BIRD), P-40 WARHAWK, P-63 KINGCOBRA, P-47 THUNDERBOLT AND B-25 MITCHELL.
The P47 looks slick with the invasion stripes. Most B25s were OD during the war.
