Taken by my Great Uncle during World War Two. This was taken from a gunners position on top of the aircraft. This photo was taken after a flack attack from German ground troops. I have come to find out that there are not many photos left of this squadron and that not many were taken. Sadly my Great Uncle has passed away and his wife and his brother gave me permission to share this photo.. Copy Right FWulff

My Great Grandpa was a Tail gunner on a B-17. he got shot down over Bordeaux, France and lived in a barn until he was rescued. he was par of the 534th bombardment squadron.
