Only 30 -100's made. Lufthansa operated 22 of them. Great shots Peter! Could that be a 727-100 lifting off in the background too?
Yes - in 1968 Lufthansa only had 727-030s. Their first 727-230 was delivered in 1971.
Saw my first 737, also a Lufthansa bird, at the Munich airport in 1968. It certainly looked different from the 707s I was used to flying in the 60s.
Look's like a B-727, from my angle?
