Southwest's N711HK, "The Herbert D. Kelleher" special Desert Gold paint honoring the airline's founder, is on the climb from Reno heading to Denver.

There will ALWAYS be one of Southwest's fleetbirds with Herb Kelleher's name on it. And deservedly so. He took Southwest from an idea on a cocktail napkin to a nationwide airline.

Epic catch of the "The Herbert D. Kelleher" Special Livery, Gary! While I have seen sister special N714CB three times, I have yet to spot N711HK. This aircraft rarely comes into DSM and the few times it has I had work or classes to do. Hopefully, sometime soon will come when I can see it.
Very cool Poster picture here....I saw the jet in 2000? at SJC and videotaped it's departure... it's still flying? wow
