A Yak-52 (Yakovlev YK52), N752YK, with Mark "Flex" McKinnon piloting, races down 17L as it departs RNO on a brief trip south to Carson City (KCXP) where it will probably be a fabulously popular attraction at this weekend's Carson City Airport Open House.

I truly love that little "notation" below the "back seat" of the cockpit. It reads, "All Who Dare - Get In, Sit Down, Shut Up, and Hang On." I'm soooo willing to park my butt in that seat!!

Per Cirium: On Dec. 31, 2024, this 1987 UAC (Yakovlev) Yak-52, registered to G-Loc Fighters LLC, experienced a right main undercarriage collapse while exiting the runway, following its landing at Reno-Tahoe International Airport, Reno, Nevada during a local flight. The accident happened in daylight (1322L). There were no injuries.
