Three killer Hawgs at RNO and less than a dozen people were interested enough to come to click them. No wonder the Reno Air Race Association is saying "Farewell' to Reno and northern Nevada. There MUST be somewhere else in the country that has citizens who are real aviation fans.

well, not all of us are near enough to visit as frequently as you -- I'm seven hours away -- sigh.

IMO, the econonmic losses from The Galloping Ghost and the L-29 race last year drove the race to close [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Galloping_Ghost_(aircraft) & L-29 Crash Reno National Championship Air Races 18 Sept 2022 ]
