Douglas DC-6 (5117651) - USAF Douglas C-118A Liftmaster (51-17651), military derivative of a Douglas DC-6.br /History below ...br /Originally delivered to USAF as 51-17651 and assigned to MATS (Military Air Transport Service).br /Later transferred to US Navy and redesignated BuNo 131602.br /Later transferred to US Army and used at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.br /Eventually "retired' from active use, flown to Travis Air Force Base (KSUU) by the Navy, and donated to the museum there.
