The CAG colorbird of the VAW 116 "Sun Kings" (NAS Point Mugu ... Carrier Air Wing 17 ... USS Theodore Roosevelt / CVN-71), an E-2C Hawkeye being flown by CDR J.F. "Spoiler" Wenker, approaches NAS Fallon after completing an afternoon training sortie.

The USS Theodore Roosevelt left port yesterday (01 Aug) and is currently headed to sea to perform in an exercise which will be the last phase of preparation prior to deployment.
