N933W —
Although there are some instruments and knobs on the panel that did not exist when this Stinson SM-7B came out of the factory on June 14th, 1930; there are two "original equipment' objects in plain view: the Stinson "steering wheels" and the Stinson foot pedal.
This was snapped at Reno Stead Airport last month (September, 2021) when co-owner Karen Allen invited me aboard and permitted me to take photos of her gorgeous 91 year old Stinson.

This Stinson was "born" on June 14th, 1930 ..... exactly 20 years and one day before I was born; but even tho it is 20 years older than I am it sure looks a helluva lot "younger" and better cared for than me. lol
Great depiction of the old stick and rudder days of aviation Gary. By the way, now that you have revealed your age, I think I might have a few pairs of socks older than you. Cheers
Chris >>>> (HUGE grin) Ah, my friend, you have 'dated" yourself with that comment. Today's young generation are true believers in, and practitioners of, the "throwaway society" concerpt: use something once or twice and then throw it away. Like marriage. Get married for a year or two and then dump the spouse and the kids. So if you have socks THAT old, you must be a (g)old timer like myself. Cherish those socks -- they don't make ANYthing THAT durable nowadays. (lol)
Well said old timer. Hand salute!
