Boeing 757-200 (N627NP)

N627NP received a Water Cannon Welcome as it taxied into the alley at KRNO. I caught a fine click of the WCW with the main terminal in the background from my spotting position on T/W Charlie directly across from the alley.

We are fortunate to have RVF launching service here, especially because AAY is (yet AGAIN!) going to pull out of RNO, FFT already left RNO, JSX will soon reduce the number of RNO route runs, AAL dumped its RNO-ORD service quite a while ago, AHA disappeared back when when ExpressJet folded its tent, and Spirit is getting ever closer to Death's Door. But, on a (potentially) exciting note, rumors are swirling that RNO may see another airline .... a long-established one ... take a gamble here. If so, it will only be one new service route, but it will be one EVERYBODY here wants (fingers crossed).

This was N630AU at USAir, I worked this plane when it was brand new in 95....loved those 757's :)
