Based on the angle you took those photos I can see on google earth that massive "hill" that runs along the road. SO there must be a legal sweet spot for planespotting and you nailed it.
Nice seeing that angle since no one else has ventured that way and the scenery in the background adds to the image. 5 star location.

Please take a look at a picture from this registration (N794SB) and you will see the hill in the photo. yea there is a spot were you stand before someones house for some one like me that cannot enter the hotel area. but if your staying at that hotel your on the same level.
