Old Hawk Eye pilots never die. They just end up flying Greyhounds

I was in this squadron when it was RVAW-120 from 1979-1982.
We had the E-2B and transitioned into the E-2C with the Allison 425 Turbo-Prop.
I guess now RR owns this engine.
I had a great time. It was there that I decided as an Airman to retire as an AD1 with gold and medals like my supervisor AD1 Harshberger who left a rather huge impression upon me. He was the best. I loved my career, every minute of it. 22 years ago this coming January, I retired. Nothing better than Naval Aviation and Flat-Tops.
