Experimental 100kts-200kts (N34DF)
This photo of the Beach City Baby (N34DF) was taken by me as it landed at the Venango Regional Airport (KFKL) in Franklin, PA 16323 on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 6, 2018, about 1:00 PM. The Beach City Baby is a partially restored 1942 Douglas DC-3 and it will be hangered at the airport for the foreseeable future.

The correct tail number is N34D, not N34DF.
that landing looks a little scary!
Torsten, both numbers are on the side of the aircraft near the tail. N34D is in large, faded letters and N34DF is in smaller, more legible letters.
Nice catch, Bill. And N34DF appears to be the current/correct N number per the FAA registry.
Bill, my apologies, when I looked at the full-resolution image I could not make out the last letter of the tail number, and when I searched for N34D, pictures of a C-53/DC-3 with the registration N34D also taken at Beach City Airport came up, so I assumed they were the same aircraft.

Am I missing something or is it perpendicular to the runway?
