United Airlines tests new boarding process at Los Angeles International Airport
United Airlines, the third-largest carrier at Los Angeles International Airport, has started trying out a new way to board passengers that might cut back on confusion and frustration. "We've been testing different processes and soliciting feedback to find a more customer-friendly boarding method that also helps employees," the airline said in a statement, adding that LAX was selected for the test because it has a good mixture of aircraft and travelers. Or just board business class first, then board the rest from back to front and if you run out of overhead space, you will have less distance to the front of the aircraft to gate check the overflow!
Unfortunately I see it all the time that passengers board and stuff their bags into the first overhead bin they see open before trundling to their seats in the back. They are lazy and inconsiderate of the people who sit in the seats whose bin space they just took away.
I had that happen to me last year on a A320 in business class. The couple immediately in front of us (who weren't even in business class) stopped everyone else from boarding while they stuffed their bags into the bins for our seats and then walked towards the back of the plane.

yes, have seen that happen. Called the F/A and she removed the bags and gate checked them. Also made an announcement after landing.
Hopefully they were charged a large fee for that
The overhead bins should be removed as when there was an accident people removed there items from them. One day people will die from them doing that. Also some of the items put in them don't really fit without a fight.
