Airbus have overtaken rival Boeing after record sales in 2013

I tire listening to these guys and their "statistics" that are mostly meaningless without revealing discounts, production costs, and profit margins. If you are losing money on each transaction or breaking even you don't make it up on volume. This is marketing not financial reporting and the markets are not fooled for either EIDS or Boeing.

The stock is well below the 52 week high with most of profits coming from other divisions. Air Bus is looking at $4 Billion in penalties for the A-380 and A-350 and Leahy is propping up the stock price understandable.
