Canadair CL-415 SuperScooper (N392AC) - Two of Aeroflites Canadair CL-415 Super Scoopers (Tanker #261 - N392AC and Tanker #260 - N389AC) are snapped here in this early morning shot as they sit on Reno-Tahoe Internationals taxiway Lima. The two Aeroflite fire-fighting air tankers were parked on the taxiway for their RON stay because the ramp at Reno Stead Airport was completely full of air tankers parked for the night and the Atlantic Aviation ramp at KRNO was also completely full, so RNOs Lima taxiway adjacent to runway 25 was used as an overnight parking ramp.

I've never been on board a water scooper style fire fighting tanker before, so I send a very appreciative Thank You to Pete for the tour of #261 and for the informative comments.

Good mornin', Cliff. And Thanks. I'm supposed to receive that newsletter, but I've never gotten it and I've grown tired of trying to find out why. Any way you can "forward" it? Also, keep an eye on your e/m. I've got an excellent panoramic photo to send. Early morning -- airport ramp lights still on. Shows a Delta B738 on its takeoff roll down 16R ..... with an AA B738 only about four or five car lengths behind it ---> ALSO on its "D" roll down 16R. It's a one-in-a-zillion capture; I couldn't end up with another pic like this if I lived to be 100. You'll like it, I guarantee! (Wave)
