Westjet 2652 (CYYZ-TNCM) descended through MDA, was pictured about 50 feet off the ocean surface at Princess Juliana. They executed a go-around and landed successfully later. Picked the story with the best headline... The passenger allegedly walked past the gate agent without showing ID or a boarding pass. When the police showed up to remove her from the plane, she became "non-compliant" and had to be dragged down the aisle. She may or may not have been tazed before being removed. UAL 378, operating LAX-EWR, diverted to OMA with a fuel leak. Appears to be N58101, a 752. Plane landed safely 21:19 CDT but can't get the fuel to stop leaking from the left side. They shut off both engines and the APU with no effect. Captain is opening the doors because the fumes are very strong throughout the plane. Delta Airlines 1193 (MD-90, believed to be N947DN), scheduled PHX-MSP, diverted to OMA due to a “rudder issue”. Emergency was declared, Alert-2, fire and rescue equipment deployed. SWA4378, DEN-OMA, N7713A, declared an emergency due to an "odor in the cockpit". It was given priority descent into Eppley Field (KOMA). Tracking showed a turn over the field (needed time to descend?) to land. Pilot confirmed that crash/fire was waiting and received permission to park "between the runways".
