The only warning they should heed is the example set by a previous offender that is always televised on the news....social media also posts a lot of these. If you're going to play the game, you're going to pay the price for admission!!

Well Huck....the airlines are a business and as such is a private entity. Ergo, according to law, they CAN enact policies that may not be agreeable to those who wish to fly. If they mandate a mask, wear it....if not, go fly on another airline. If no airlines permit you to fly without a mask, drive to your destination. Bottom line....IT IS NOT ILLEGAL for an airline to mandate mask wearing. Sorry.

No argument there. I agree privileges should be restored, but, only after the person has: paid fine(s), shall not fly for 1 year (for first offense), and attend anger management class (if said anger was directed at mask requirement by airline); if intoxication was involved, then appropriate class / probation period be successfully completed as well. It is just too easy for these people to become belligerant bumpkins and expect forgiveness without penalty.

There should be a National Clearinghouse Listing of Unruly Passengers like these morons. Who is to say that one of these jerkweeds banned from one airline doesn't book on another and cause the same sort of headaches that got them banned from flying in the first place ? I say make a singular listing as mentioned and get on with it!!

Sure seems as if we move forward in design/engineering/releasing new fighters, more and more issues crop up. Likely because of backdoor politics / deals, pushing to get the thing in service before it can be thoroughly tested and vetted causing even more issues and lengthy delays. Sure don't seem to hear of this kind of trouble with Russian, French, or Italian jets.

In addition to the fines, minimum ban should be 3 yrs with a shot at redemption afterward. If a second offense, ban the dumba&* for life on that particular airline; as you would think that once should be enough of a wake-up call. Then, place these goofballs on a no-fly list so other airlines can decide who and who should not climb aboard.

Alaska Airlines is a PRIVATE ENTERPRISE that caters to the public and can run it as they see fit. Especially when they wish to follow CDC guidelines as it pertains to mask wearing in an effort to prevent COVID spread. If you can't follow the simple rules set forth, take the road, as was done here.....AND DO NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT IT! She made the choice she can accept the consequences!!

Based on my over 30 plus years experience in law enforcement, I can tell you that the hit in the pocketbook is often more of a punishment than jail.
