Muildenberg and the entire board of directors ought to be fired, firing Muilenberg alone would be just scapegoating him while letting others, arguably even more culpable, get off scot free

Is the KC-46 the product from Boeing winning the bid for the KC-X project that Airbus withdrew from due to complaining about subsidies?

If so, Airbus/EADS are probably chuckling under their breath right about now..

I suspect privately some will be thinking 'yup, we feel your pain.' It took a little while to get the Airbus tanker working as advertised. The boom wouldn't behave. But they got there. On the other hand, if the 'bus had been selected, the Air Force would probably have some already.
