A Chilean air force C-130 Hercules that was bound for Antarctica and carrying 38 on board lost radio contact with the country’s control center Monday evening, a statement from the military said. The military had declared an alert and activated a search and rescue team. The transport plane carried 17 crew members and 21 passengers. Those on board were to check on a floating fuel supply line and other equipment at the Chilean base. (www.foxnews.com) Mais...

I’m not religious, but I recognize that “thoughts and prayers” are how some people express sympathy and compassion, no different from “my condolences”. Responding to it with snark just makes you look like an asshole.

I really hope for good news. Somehow I ended up in the foxx news comment section. What a wasteland of humanity. There needs to be a driver's license / certification for these things.

I avoid comments sections like the plague. Lots of human debris in those places

Wow, I thought with the Iridium Satellite constellation in place we were supposed to be able to track any plane, anywhere, thus never to loose a plane again......anywhere on Earth. Can someone explain?
