Made right here in St. Louis. Home of the Navy's greatest fighter planes in history. Banshee, Air Force F101 Voodoo, F4, Air Force F 15 F 18, Harrier, and F 18 Super Hornet.
Too choppy and repetitive I prefer to remember standing on the deck and watching for real.

The flyby was with hooks down. Is this significant?
Works ups are done as if your going to actually do a trap. Therefore you do everything you would do for a landing. The only time you don’t is if you are going to do a Crash and Dash (touch and go) .. When your ready and performed the required go around and Touch and GO and the LSO's agree you can trap.
Lots of fun for the pilots. In the A-3 it was fun for the pilots, ok for the Nav not so much for me. I just sat in the 3rd seat facing aft and watching.

Also meant to add, when you do the flyby with the Hook down it shows the Carrier that your hook system works. If you drop it and your green but fly by shows its not fully down there are steps to perform to get it down if not your Bingo'ed to an airfield to get it fixed.
It is great to see something you worked on do so well.
