Problems with new GE9X engine force Boeing to get creative with 777X testing

Boeing is working to avoid delays from problems with the engines on its new 777X aircraft. Engine supplier GE Aviation began flight trials of the new GE9X jet engine that will power the Boeing 777X last week.
