The pilot of a small, twin-engine cargo plane died after crashing about 10 feet from a home near Centennial Airport shortly after takeoff on Tuesday morning. RAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. - A plane belonging to a charter and cargo company crashed Tuesday morning in Centennial after the pilot reported a loss of engine power. The pilot was killed.

Given that the pilot reported a loss of engine power, it probably wasn't icing.

The weather was fairly good and no icing conditions. My swag is fuel contamination or wrong type if he lost both engines. We'll see.

Ok you got the SWAG part right better than the ones about icing due to loss of engine power. There could have been fuel system icing in the lines that's about it.

Given the fact it doesn't have a carb as its fuel injected probably not.

Not knowing if it was carbureted or not I used the term loosely... However, fuel injection systems can will suffer from induction icing just like a carb... With the same end result...
