These aircraft are built for the passengers, not for the pilots...

Hi Guido.. Wien is my home town. They have the most up to date systems in Europe. That twisted tower!

Thank you Roland.
I enjoyed the 2 day stay at Vienna a lot - and the weather cleared up also.
Happy landings,
Guido

Also, props to flight aware for addressing the spammers. 10 down-votes now hides the comment. The only downside I see to this method is missing out on Phil Rudd's comments; I get a good laugh at every other one or so. Have to respect the lack of a filter in today's politically correct World.

Is that a recent change?- I believe I saw Phil Rudd at -28 a while back. 8-)

Sir,
reading the NTSB release of Asiana 214 CVR last week reminded me of your posts- mainly for what wasn't there in it. Thanks for all your posts and for setting the expectations so high.

Thank you, Joel.

Happy Landings,
Guido

Not sure that guy is ready to be a student in the left seat of a jet quite yet.

I am not sure he is ready to be in the left seat of any aircraft. Was the left wing on fire or something? 200 to mins in no time to have your head on a swivel looking around. Pilot NOT flying job is to be outside, pilot flying is just that. Flying.

Also Guido, I like your coaching to keep a hand on the AP disconnect/Yoke constantly down low.

Thank you!
If that trim runs away and you do not have the hand ready - the last thing you see is a fireball on impact...
Happy Landings,
Guido

Guido - I watch and enjoy ALL your videos. Surgical precision. The epitome of "Cool, Calm, and Collected."

No matter how stressful a situation may get, you exemplify the adage "TRUST your training. Trust your instruments"

Well Done, Sir!

Well said "mike SUT". In addition, swiveling the head like that is a great way to induce vertigo!

I was gonna show this to someone as an example of a professional cockpit.

The video is gone! :-(
