The USAF's KC-46 Pegasus Tanker Finally Takes Flight

Yesterday we were the first to show you the USAF's new KC-46 Pegasus tanker demonstrator doing high speed taxi runs at Paine Field in Everett Washington. Now the highly modified Boeing 767 in military uniform has leaped into the air for the first time.

As more pictures arrive from photographers in the field of this historic flight we will post them here. The jet should be landing at Boeing Field, just south of Seattle fairly soon.

Update: It looks like the flightplan for BOE1 will have it landing back at Paine Field instead of Boeing Field.
