Very Nice Shot, 5 Stars

Are you sure it isn't a B-24 Liberator? The nose doesn't match a B-25.

The B-24 is a 4 engine heavy bomber and the B-25 is a 2 engine medium bomber.
Nice shot of the CAF's Ghost Squadron B-24, Diamond Lil.

My BS meter is vibrating. The photo is of a B-24 Liberator, not a B-25 Mitchell. The B-25 was a twin engine, medium bomber. The B-24 was a four engine heavy bomber.

Yep, tis an early model B-24A (actually a LB-30B). Note the nacelles- round not oval as in later B-24 models. AKA Diamond Lil, she's with the CAF now, and the serial number indicates that she was one of the last B-24As built (of 20) originally sent to Great Britian as a Liberator MkI. Beautiful bird- love those long Davis wings and the throaty sound of her four round motors. Imagine a hundred overhead at once!

A nice image of an early B24. There is a photo of the nose of a B25 7 images down in the same column. Looks like the poster had a whoops and confused a couple of labels.

If I'm not mistaken, this is a B24 Liberator
