I hope the pilot told his/her passengers that what they saw on the left of the plane was a practice!
I was wondering about that too, Paul. Lots of planes were landing during this.
I'm guessing there was a landing announcement that went "We will be landing in Minneapolis shortly -
weather at the airport is 78F and partly cloudy - pay no attention to the burning plane on your left - and thank you for flying with Delta today."

.....and on the starboard side we have........
ohhhhh. its a practise. goody.
paul the captain would probably say " we hope you enjoyed your flight. we have currently touched down at ??? and on your left side we have only a practise, and plese do not unbuckle your seatbelt until we are at a full stop. thank you for flying delta airlines."
