Always enjoyed flying on the 727 and watching the leading edge slats and the complicated flap system deploy on approach to landing. One of the most beautiful aircraft designs of all time!

They had a very distinctive sound when taxiing, could tell them even if could not see them.

The most beautiful comercial aircraft. I flew many times when I was a Varig (Brazilian Airline) ground staff member,

Great Machine It was really fun to just point the nose at the end of the runway and Come Down and Slow Down at the same time and Grease it on at the end.

Photos of a 727 always remind me of my very first commercial flight on a plane that was operated by Braniff airlines. I prefer the view from behind when the gear and flaps have just been properly stowed for flight . . . <table><tr><td><a href="http://www.flightaware.com/photos/view/14282914-864df3e07f948129f0fa4a0ca0e7390bd74a82f1/aircraft/N726US/sort/votes/page/1"><img src="https://photos.flightaware.com/photos/retriever/8f122fec87c15c24f75153ed07b2f6327ebd1bd0" alt="FlightAware Photo" width="640" height="370" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="text-align: right; font-style: italic; size: 10pt;;">Photo Courtesy of FlightAware.com</td></tr></table>

At COS in 1973 we used the rear stair to enplane and deplane.
727 uma lenda .

USA Jet is an on-demand cargo airline based near Detroit that can deliver time sensitive cargo within a day or less. They operate 2 Boeing 727-200 aircraft plus some others. I always enjoyed watching them make noise at Midway Airport in Chicago and at Quad Cities in Moline IL. I believe it was a 2 plus 3 seating arrangement on United and other airlines.
