Beechcraft Bonanza (33) (N8943U)
Comments
When I was in the Navy I was a Mechanic (hydraulic and structure's). We flew T34B'S out of Saufley Field, Pensacola FL.(Now closed)the military version of the Bonanza, dual seat front and back we had 120 of them up every day. Every new Navy, Marine and some other countries, this was the first AC they learned to fly. We worked 24/7. They got their day and night hours in. The new pilots got their day training, night hour in ect. From there the the new pilots went on to props, jets, Helos ect. The military didn't care if they had any previous pilots license. You did it their way or they were washed.
Myself I had a Coast Guard 100 ton Marine Captains license good for the whole Eastern Seaboard of the US plus the Gulf of Mexico but they could care less. They made me an AC mech. go figure. So they made me work on Airplanes. Oh well, another skill learned.
