JA23MJ —

What's the scoop on this airplane? It flew over my house minutes ago but it didn't show up on flightaware. It did show up on flightradar24 however which is where I got the callsign JA23MJ. If I type that (slowly) into the searchbox above it throws it out, won't let me search for that. If I *paste* it in I do get a result but it shows the aircraft landed yesterday (not showing the in-progress flight). It went over the other day too at 19,000' according to flightradar24, it has a very distinctive sound, almost turboprop-like. Any chance we can get some info on this bird or is it top secret classified information? Nice photos you have of it BTW, excellent contributions. :)

Jim, AFAIK There are 2 MRJ flying stateside as part of getting FAA Certification for the type. Would not be shocked if Mitsubishi is blocking/ trying to block flight tracking.
