I remember R4D/DC3's being converted to turbine powered aircraft at the lake front airport in New Orleans. Was told mostly for south American countries. Wonder where those aircraft are serving now?

timeless design with great bones..... being "overbuilt" means you still can be flown many years later, looking good even sitting on the tarmac
