GREAT SHOT!
Isn't that one of the planes John Denver had? He flew a Waco into the Flying M Ranch in Nevado for a soaring gathering. I've got it on a DVD.
More neat airplanes...
Thank you Jesse, Mr. Tommy aand 2sheds for your comments. A few WACO models and a nice assortment of vintage aircraft at this annual fall event in Pennsylvania. I hope to return there in 2024 and spot some more.
Almost the spittin' image of the airport I learned to fly .... And the airport identifier of Van Sant is 9N1...vs Grimes 8N1 ... Same sort of airplanes too.... learned in a Champ ... same kind of hanger down over the hill, actually had to look it up.. been 50+ years
rbt schaffer:
Spotted a number of times at Van Sant Airport. Just recently at a Wings and Wheels event back in the fall. Some of those aircraft are posted too. Recommend Grimes Annual Punkin Festival Weekend with lots of oldies to see and ride in. Thanks for the comment...
