I have been on this Aircraft in Houston (IAH)I worked for Continental Airlines as a technician was in school for 747 Avionics in IAH and we were on a parked Continental 747 going thru some avionics checks the An-225 was parked next to us and our instructors asked the flight Engineer if we could take a look. The aircraft was in Houston to pickup oil equipment for an oil company in Russia. The aircraft is massive and interesting we were on it for about an hour. I will always remember it got quite of a few photos. The Engineer asked the Instructor if it was possible to buy Engine oil Exon 2380 for the Aircraft, how many and he said how many can you sell me, called stores and asked how much we could sell them
and they said 100 cases and they agreed. The engineer said if they were back in IAH they buy more 2380. it was a very interesting DAY.

In the event of a catastrophic hydraulics failure, can you imagine having to hand-crank that gear into the up (OR down) and locked position?
