Comments
Excellent image!!
@Jose Suro: Thx!
You want to give us the story about why he is in such a bank that close to the ground?
Kind of strange to say the least. How far was the Rwy from that spot?
I would have instantly lost my job in Ansett if I had even been the support pilot, let alone the "pilot flying" when this shot was taken. But then again, a Clue is that this A380 is still on the French register, prior to her delivery to BA...as F-WWSK.
I would have to say this is a fake picture!
This aircraft was landing at LFPB few days prior to the opening of the Paris Le Bourget Airshow in June 2013. Due to the a specific approach protocol, the pilot must to perform a right then a left turn immediately before landing.
Which runway was this certain aircraft landing on?
Rnw 25
This is an exhibition flight, Paris Le Bourget in not used for commercial flights for many years, it is a business airport only, and once a year the place of Paris International Air Show (June 19th to 25th on 2017) : https://www.siae.fr/en/the_show/presentation.htm . This picture has obviously been taken one past year during the show. Anyway this A380 in British Airways livery has been shot before it was delivered to British Airways, F-WW** is an temporary registration number, when delivered the plane will be registrated in Great Britain : G-
Must be a stunt pilot flying that big thing.
anyway a French pilot ................
