The security camera doesn't show any rotation (as a PCU issue would have the plane almost nosing over (IIRC)and not in an extreme nose low attitude). I saw the lights reflecting off the wet tarmac the other day and blew off the idea of explosions. I believe the flashes come from the beacon. ( see westjet evening departure http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6lgJaWdy6E). Has anyone seen what the wx was reported that day?
One would think that politicians would notice people are not forced to land only at The Santa Monica Airport, nor are they required to keep their business there. And while on paper this fee hike seems to be a great way to raise revenue, in reality fewer and fewer people are going to elect to use SMO as their transient / destination layover. Maybe instead, they should look at ways to attract more business to the facility instead of pushing potential revenue off on another airport.
Interesting to see if mr justice and others pack up and move down to toa or out to bur in order to get away from the additional penalties from using the airport. You would think that the fuel sales alone on his 30+ ac fleet would allow the commity to keep his current exemption in place
I believe the answer to the articles first question lays within the second sentance...theyre using the US "offical export credit agency" and therefore, rules and regulations set forth from congress and courts wont apply. its been like that for years. welcome to the rules of bogus politics.
I love this agency and everything they do, congrats TSA! Keep on sexually assaulting people and getting away with it. Glad you guys smarten up and joined the drug trafficking scene as well(gotta make that extra money). Don't worry, you can always say it was an undercover mission enabled by your fearless leaders in order to catch terrorists.
He's simply showing the agents there as well as the public that he doesn't have anything on him. Personally, is what he did any less embarrassing then being publicly groped and mocked by gov. officials?
Interesting, they're advertising the 990$ per month rate for unlimited (meaning 11 trips per huffpost article) flights. Avg out to 90$ per flight and doesn't state if "stopovers" count as 2 flights. I'd say skipping th wx and hassle of sfo would be a perk and makes the 200+ mile journey alittle over an hour long.
