Ryanair takes off ahead of tonado

As I got to thinking about this, even though I posted it, It ain't that big a deal. I can remember one time at FSM and we were getting ready for takeoff and they were using 25. Tower called and said I had 10 minutes to get that 707 off the ground or we were probably going to be looking at a 30min-1hr.ground stop due to approaching wx from the N-NW. No other traffic; wind had dead calmed; they made a quick runway change as I was sitting right on 7, gave me clearance and we were gone! Rotating on minimum and as much as that heifer would bank/turn off the runway end. It would have mad a crop duster jealous. Did it all and climbed on out. Never bothered by the wx as we stayed South of it. Bottom end didn't even reach OKC. Sometimes you just got to make Winnebago act like a 'vette and get on outa dodge.
