They called Michael O'Leary. He told them to stop screwing around and take off.....or be fired. He's sure everything will be fine.

I may imagine that two B737's can survive a minor scrape given the claimed strength of the airframe to survive such incidents, now then, if the 'story' is based upon the photo images linked to this posting ( Flightaware sanctioned ) to relate to a minor coming together, then I question the competence of the controller as pilots ALWAYS respond to ground controllers and it is mandatory and basic for a commander of an aircraft to obey ground controllers. I therefore suggest RYANAIR consider suspending services at Dublin until someone get's some confidence within the entire operations of that airport.

RYANAIR can and should expect nothing less.

Taxi accidents are 100 percent pilot error.

Wrong as it depends on if there are ground personnel directing the AC at that time its there responsibility not the pilots. So you are wrong 100 percent on that statement. And by the way have been in both positions over the years.

Two Ryanair planes clip wings at Dublin Airport

Two Ryanair aircraft clipped wings on the runway at Dublin airport this morning.

A spokesperson for the airport said the incident happened on a taxiway area. They said they were not aware of any injuries to passengers or crew on board either of the planes.
